MVC with Entrapment on Conowingo Rd

Rescue Box 810: CFCRS and CCDES were alerted for a motor vehicle collision reported head on involving a box truck, in the area of Red Pump Rd and Conowingo Rd. Engine 812 (28) was just around the corner coming back from training and arrived at the time of dispatch, finding the box truck driver uninjured but trapped, and the driver of the other vehicle out but injured. Rescue 8, Engines 8, 18 and 812 extricated the trapped driver and treated the injured patient. Ambulance 891 transported the injured patient to a local hospital. Ambulance 892 and Engine 8 then responded to an additional emergency, while CCDES HAZMAT Team assisted with diesel fuel pump off for the box truck. Assistant 8 held command.
