Fire Box 846- 2nd Alarm

At 12:30 this afternoon, firebox 846 was struck in the 100 block of Woody Brown Rd. Deputy Chief 73 responded and reported a column of smoke from 222 and requested the working fire dispatch. Deputy 73 arrived moments later giving his size up of a single story rancher with fire showing from side alpha and live wires down in the front of the structure. Chief 8 arrived shortly after the size up and held command. Rising Sun and mutual aid units initiated fire attack to knock down the bulk of the fire. Chief 8 requested the 2nd alarm assignment to provide additional resources and manpower to the scene. Extensive overhaul was performed to make sure the fire was fully extinguished. No injuries were reported. Thank you to all mutual aid companies who assisted on firebox 846!
