It is with deepest regret that the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun Announces the death of Past President Herrel “Cuz” Curry Jr.
Cuz Curry was a proud life member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, having joined the company in March of 1955, devoting 66 years to the Company. Cuz was EMS Chief in 1963, Financial Secretary for many years, and was the Company President for 4 years. He served on the Board Of Directors for most of his time in the Company. He was a very active driver and was top responder for over 30 years. He received the Fireman of the Year Award in 1996, and In 2002 Cuz was inducted into the Harford Cecil Hall of Fame. Cuz will be missed very much.
